Our Program
Inspire Life Fine Arts and Technology Camp is a camp designed to expose young minds to creative artistry, basic musical theory, technology concepts, song composition and production, dance, vocal techniques, and all things STEAM! In addition to exposing young creatives to fine arts and technology, the camp is also designed to help kickstart their minds and prepare them for the upcoming school year. Self-empowerment, leadership skills, personal excellence, and mental health and wellbeing are central themes that undergird each activity and lesson.
Inspire Camp offers in-person camps for youth ages 7-17. These camps are held during school breaks (i.e. summer, fall, winter, and spring). Below are some of the course offerings within our camps.
Urban Farming at Kula Farm
Ever wonder how produce is grown in the city? Or how hydroponic systems operate? Well you’re in luck! All Inspire Life Campers will get an opportunity to visit Kula Farm and learn about Kula’s biodiverse and ecologically balanced growing environment. You will cultivate plants for pollinators, which are beneficial insects and birds, while applying concepts such as permaculture and succession planting. I know those words might sound big or unfamiliar now, but by the end of camp, you’ll know what they mean!
Dance & Choreography
Shake your groove thang at Inspire Camp this summer! Led by Phillipmychael Bonds, a nationally renowned choreographer, you will choreograph your own dance alongside other talented dancers. Learn confidence, technique, and form while having fun in this dynamic class.
Music Production and Theory
Let’s make beats! Come learn the basics of music production and theory so that you can make your own original music. In this class, you will get experience with the hottest equipment in the industry while flexing your creative muscle and learning what it takes to make it in the music industry.
Technology & S.T.E.A.M
Calling all future coders, engineers, programmers, scientists, and techies! Join this interactive class to learn more about makey makey, scratch, 3-D printing, and more!
Photography
The world is an intriguing place, full of wonder and beauty. In this beginners class, you will learn to capture that beauty through a different lens. In addition to getting hands-on experience with different types of cameras, you will also learn and practice techniques to capture stunning and creative photos.
YouTube Content Creators
Be a YouTuber and show your creativity in this one-of-a-kind class! You will be tasked with starting an Inspire Life YouTube channel and creating the content for it, while learning to be a responsible digital citizen. Develop your on camera presence, learn about branding, and record and edit your own YouTube videos.
